Here’s the reading text:
Hi Kathy,
I hope you are well. My English classes are good. I have a lot of friends from all over the world! Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I wake up early and eat breakfast. I always review my class notes. I sometimes read the newspaper. I go to school at 8:00 a.m. My neighbor Francis and I walk to class together.
We usually eat lunch after class. Sometimes I go to the computer lab after lunch. Francis never goes with me. He has a computer at home. I think he usually watches music videos, but he doesn’t admit it.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I don’t have class in the morning. I usually go to the gym and exercise. Francis doesn’t like to go to the gym. He occasionally exercises at home. We meet in class, and then we usually go to the library. Our friends Ava and Emily often come, too. Ava does her homework, and Emily usually reads.
Every Saturday afternoon I work at a restaurant as an assistant server. I clean the tables and fill water glasses. It isn’t an easy job, but I like it. It has some good parts, like the tips! I often go to parties after work on Saturdays. Usually, the party is at a classmate’s apartment.
Everyone tries to bring something. Francis usually brings the music. I don’t stay too late. On Sundays, I rarely leave my apartment. I usually study, watch TV, and go online. I check my email and write friends and family. My family writes every week.
